For my academia friends out there - the PHD Comics grading story line continues. A sampling of my favorites from the last few weeks:
And with that, I'm off to the Outerbanks for my first ever knitting retreat! I've got a big bag of yarn and a small bag of grading. I will think of you all while I am wine and sock yarn tasting! (I imagine I'll slip a little grading in there somewhere!)

That's me on the bottom there, except that my box of papers is electronic. I just handed back a batch this morning, and the next batch is due... wait for it... at noon today. :) Art imitates life.

Yup, I always end up feeling on top of things when I can keep it down to one pile of grading per class in my to-grade box at one time. I can't wait to hear all about the retreat -- have a great time!

Ah. I am also in PhD hell. So wonderful.
I should have been working towards a PhD in crafting.
